Ingredients of lemon drizzle cake
- It's 2 of eggs.
- It's 6 oz of caster sugar.
- It's 5 1/2 oz of soft margarine.
- It's 1 of finley grated lemon rind.
- You need 6 oz of self-raising flour.
- You need 4 oz of milk.
- It's 5 oz of icing sugar.
- It's 2 oz of lemon juice.
lemon drizzle cake instructions
- preheat oven to 180*c.
- place eggs , caster sugar and margerine in a bowl and beat until smooth and fluffy.
- stir in lemon rind then fold flour in . stir in milk and then spoon in cake tin.
- to make the syrup place icing sugar and lemon juice in a small saucepan and heat gently.
- prick the warm cake with a cake and then spoon syrup over top of cake and then leave to cool completley then dust icing sugar ontop of the cake.
